SA 8000
Setaş Kimya is the first and only company in the chemical industry to hold the SA 8000 certification.
The SA 8000 Social Responsibility Standard is an international standard published in 1997 to ensure the protection of workers’ rights. This standard aims to guarantee proper working conditions across businesses, their suppliers, and all related workplaces.
The SA 8000 Social Responsibility Standard was developed by a working group consisting of trade unions, human rights and child rights organizations, academics, and employers, based on certain ILO Conventions, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
